Dreaming of Alaska

Alaska, the final frontier.  I was blessed with the opportunity to work in Alaska for 11 years, guiding anglers into spectacular fishing from the Kuskokwim delta down to the Alaska peninsula.  The vastness off the Aukluhn Mt range, you can climb up on a hill and look out as far as you can see not a soul in sight.  The prolific bounty of Shellikoff straight and Geographic Harbour.  I have seen tornados on the peninsula, one of few to ever occur.  I have watched Finn whales within arms distance, larger than a submarine, with hundreds of Dahl Porpois guiding the way.  Bears? oh yeah Bears,  face to face encounters.   The pic below was a battle between a large Boar and younger 4 year old.  Boars (male brown bear) will kill younger bears in the territory.  The scene was out of a horror movie, and the sounds of the fight would make the hardest of people cringe.
