With all the wild weather lately, it has been hard to get out on the Sound or the Olympic Peninsula rivers.  Between wind storms, fishing for Blackmouth in Puget Sound has been very good.  The last few trips out we have had very consistent action on some good sized Blackmouth up to 10lbs.  This last rain storm and the one impending, has put the finishing touch on the Fall Salmon run on the OP.  Their will be a few Salmon around when the rivers recede, this is time to look for Winter Steelhead.  As the water drops into shape.  I would expect a decent shot of Steelhead in the Bogachiel, Calawah, and Hoh.

This past system squeezed out more than 10" of rain in 24hrs.
