Salmon season on the Olympic Peninsula rivers has been fair to good at times.  We have been targeting the Hoh River and Bogachiel for a mix of Coho, Chinook and a few Steelhead are starting their journeys up the rivers.  We have been hitting good numbers of salmon on the  These little neutral weighted spinners are great for getting down in the fish zone and enticing the fish.  Steelhead will be showing with force over the next few months,  The hatchery run will peak in December.  Bait divers with sand shrimp or floats and shrimp, can be the ticket when searching for these fish.  We will be booking trips for these fish over the next month.

I returned last week from another trip up in to the northern parts of British Columbia.  We fished hard for 10 days and found many willing steelhead, some very large fish as well.  The weather could not have been more perfect.
