We have had great fishing lately for Blackmouth on Puget Sound. Blackmouth are immature Chinook. They tend to average 22-27″ but larger fish into the high teens and over 20lbs are caught each year locally. This fishery tends to pick up in the winter months, and good fishing now is promising for good fishing to come. The Peninsula streams have been hot and cold for Chinook and Coho.
